Join us at APSA in Vancouver for the APCG Business Meeting on Friday, September 12 (6:30–7:30pm, VCC West 220), followed by the APCG Social at Steamworks Brewing (7:45–9:45pm, Wine Room) with drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

Please join us at APSA for the following events:

APCG Business Meeting: Friday September 12, 6:30pm - 7:30pm, Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC), West Level 2, West 220 (V)

APCG Social: Friday September 12, 7:45pm - 9:45pm, Steamworks Brewing, 375 Water St, Vancouver. The social will be held in the Wine Room. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

We have a fantastic array of APCG panels throughout the conference. Thanks to program chairs Nicholas Kerr and Amanda Edgell for making these happen.

APCG Online Colloquium Call for Papers - Fall 2025 & Spring 2026

The presentation of papers in the APCG Online Colloquium is open to all scholars of African politics. Papers broadly related to political topics or subjects in Africa will be considered for presentation. There are no thematic or methodological requirements. Priority will be given to advanced PhD students, scholars based in Africa, and junior faculty. Preference will be given to scholars willing for their papers and videos of the session to be publicly posted.
