Zelalem Teshome Baye is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Debre Berhan University in Ethiopia. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, with a research focus on democratic governance and civil society. He also earned an MA in Political Science from Universität Osnabrück and a BA in Philosophy from Addis Ababa University. With a strong academic background and research experience across Europe and Africa, Zelalem is dedicated to advancing the study of democracy, governance, and political development in Ethiopia and beyond.
