Prof. Dr. Alexander Stroh-Steckelberg is Professor of African Politics and Development Policy. His research focuses on Governance, Justice, Development, Aid and Institutions. He previously served as Junior Professor at the same faculty and as a researcher at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). He has taught at universities in Germany and Benin, including Abomey-Calavi, Heidelberg, and Lüneburg. He holds a PhD from the University of Hamburg and a Master’s in Political Science and International Law from the University of Heidelberg.
