I am the Deputy Program Manager at the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley. Previously, I was a Research Scientist at NORC at the University of Chicago (2022-24) and an Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College (2010-22). My research interests are primarily in the field of comparative politics, with a focus on elections and policy making in Africa’s emerging democracies. I completed a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, a Master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University / SAIS, and a BA at Oberlin College.
