
Nyema Guannu
Nyema Guannu obtained his doctorate in Economics-Political Science at the Claremont Graduate University. He earned a a Masters degree in Philosophy and Social Policy from American Univsersity and a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver - Korbel School of International Studies and holds concurrent Bachelor’s degrees in economics, philosophy, and political science from Arizona State University. His research interests include economic development, international economics, and global political economy. This research includes analysis of the interaction of regional integration, economic development and economic growth in Sub-Saharan Africa, the relationship between health and economic development, and studies of exchange rates, capital account/external liberalization, and international financial institutions
